K.P.L.4 Hawser type Flexible Floatation Collars are specifically designed to wrap around a flexible type hose or ropes, giving sufficient buoyancy. The flexible material enables the collar to bend following the natural curve of the hose or rope. The collar is designed to store in flat-pack form, ideal where space is minimal.

K.P.L. 4: A double layer of strong, ‘Dayglow Orange’, flexible, hard wearing nylon material, reinforced with double strength nylon stitching is used for the outer surface of the collar. The specialised inner floatation aid material is encapsulated by using a series of concertina styled pockets with appropriate brass eyelets positioned along the outer edges. A nylon lightweight lace cord threaded through the brass eyelets secures the Floatation Collar along the length of the flexible hose. The floatation collars can remain on the hose or rope and be wound on a reel when not in use. Each collar has inner straps and at each end, a capsulated pocket, which incorporates a nylon cord. These are used for securing and locating the collars position.
